Families Forward is the FGC service for Carmarthenshire and was set up in 2003 as a pilot between Action for Children & Carmarthenshire County Council. The team comprises of one full-time co-ordinator, one part-time co-ordinator, two part-time advocates and one sessional advocate. Families Forward accept referrals from Social Workers, EWOs, Schools and the Police along with self referral. The age range for eligibility is 0 to 18 years and the annual target is 25 referrals.
