1. It is recommended that the person delivering the training read the ‘Baby Walker Training – handout pack’ thoroughly to familiarise themselves with the structure of the session, including any preparation needed.
2. The Power Point presentation should then be the main tool used during the training itself. The time taken to deliver the session will vary from group to group, depending on how interactive you wish to make the session. As an estimate, try to allow at least 90 minutes. Please note that on some slides there are ‘Trainer notes’ that appear when you view the Power Point in ‘Normal view’.
3. You will need to print out two copies of ‘Activity A’ for each of your trainees. You may also like to print ‘Activity B’ onto an overhead transparency (you will need an overhead projector during the session).
4. Finally, you will need to print a copy of ‘Baby Walker Training – handout pack’ for each of your trainees to take away with them. It is strongly suggested that these handouts are not given out until the end of the training session.
