Children's Rights Practice Exchange Network
The Children's Rights Practice Exchange group, established and supported by Children in Wales, has held regular meetings since September 1997.

The network was formed in response to the need for practitioners from all over Wales to meet to share good practice and develop work around participation and children's rights in Wales.

The main benefits to members of the group are the opportunities to:

  • share information and good practice
  • obtain support from other members of the group
  • stimulate developments in the field, i.e research, training and conferences

The sharing of information and good practice has been particularly useful due to the mix of agencies and project workers attending the meetings, which are open to anyone with an interest in children's rights work in Wales.

Practice Exchange Group Meetings are held in North and South Wales with an occasional meeting in mid Wales to bring both groups together.
