Children in Wales and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child

All Children in Wales’ work relates closely to the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and this website contains a section dedicated to the UN Convention. The UN Convention section contains information about the Convention and how it is monitored, the full text of all the articles and how Children in Wales work relates to it.

Children in Wales’ Children’s Rights Work includes:-

Children's Rights Practice Exchange Network
The Children's Rights Practice Exchange group, established and supported by Children in Wales, has held regular meetings since September 1997.
Children’s Rights Representation
Children in Wales is involved in a number of initiatives aimed at promoting children’s rights in Wales
Children's Rights Training
This introductory course aims to develop practitioners understanding of the developing knowledge base which exists on children’s rights

Children's Rights Alliance for England
An alliance of over 180 organisations committed to children’s human rights.
European Children's Network - Euronet

European Network of Ombudsmen for Children
Encourages the fullest possible implementation of the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and collective lobbying for children’s rights across 12 European countries.
