Children in Wales is involved in a number of initiatives aimed at promoting children’s rights in Wales, including:

United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) Monitoring Group

Children in Wales is represented on the UNCRC Monitoring Group which works together to ensure the effective co-ordination of the monitoring of the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child in Wales. Save the Children convenes the UNCRC Monitoring Group which is an alliance of agencies at the national level that co-ordinates work in Wales on monitoring the implementation of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. More information about monitoring the UNCRC is available in the UN Convention section of this site.
