‘Tackling Child Poverty in Wales : A Good Practice Guide’ is a booklet asking teachers to contribute to tackling the issue of child poverty in Wales by recognising key contributory factors and by taking practical steps within schools. (pdf 677k). See press release below.

Letters

In January 2005 members of the End Child Poverty Network Cymru attended a meeting with Chancellor of the Exchequer, Gordon Brown who visited Cardiff to launch an awareness campaign about the Child Trust Fund. First Minister Rhodri Morgan, and former Minister for Health and Social Services, Jane Hutt also attended the meeting. Members of the Network asked a range of questions and subsequently wrote a letter to the Chancellor highlighting areas of concern over aspects of the Child Trust Fund.
