About Us

Children in Wales is a membership body and is open to individuals and organisations from a wide range of fields with varying interests, but all of whom are interested in improving the lives of children and young people in Wales.

If you decided to join us you could become part of the largest networks of professionals in Wales with an interest in children and young people and their families. As a member, you can expect to benefit from our expertise in policy development, working alongside colleagues within the National Assembly for Wales and Welsh Assembly Government and communicating with multi-agency networks in the statutory and voluntary sectors.

Our 200 existing members come from the voluntary, statutory and private sectors and include, Local Authorities, Health Trusts, Voluntary Organisations, Universities, Schools, Nurseries, Family Centres and Solicitors.
