Child and Adolescent Mental Health: An Introduction
Location:Venue Cymru, Llandudno
Date:10 Jul 2008
Organiser:Children in Wales & YoungMinds

This course builds on the core principals of the NSF in Wales to deepen understanding of children and young people’s mental health and increase confidence, competence and capacity in this important area of children’s services. It will look at promoting mental health, the identification of children at risk of mental health problems, early intervention and supporting children and young people with less severe and complex problems.

This course will be facilitated by Roger Catchpole, Prinicipal Consultant and Jasbinda Rooprah Senior Consultant from YoungMinds. YoungMinds is the UK’s only national charity committed to improving the mental health and emotional wellbeing of children and young people. It has more than twenty years of experience of training frontline staff and is the leading provider of specialist training on children’s mental health and well being.
