This year it is 20 years since Member States drew up the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. What difference has the Convention made to the wellbeing of children and young people in Wales? Are we using the best indicators to measure progress against the rights set out in the Convention? How can we effectively translate the indicators into the measurement of local outcomes for children and young people in Wales resulting from the Children & Young People's plans?
Delegates will be introduced to up-to-date information on indicators and outcomes at an international and national level. There will be an opportunity for discussion as to how we all rise to the challenge of ensuring that the needs and wellbeing of children are met in the present financial climate.
