Location:Cardiff
Date:29 Sep 2009
Organiser:Children in Wales

This event is now fully subscribed

Early Support is the Welsh Assembly Government’s mechanism to improve the quality, consistency and co-ordination of services for disabled children under the age of five and their families.

This event is focused on launching Early Support and raising awareness about its implementation in Wales. It offers participants a valuable opportunity to hear at first hand the potential impact that Early Support could have in Wales. It gives participants the opportunity to start to consider what would be needed to ensure Early Support helps to improve services for young disabled children and their families.

The event shows how Early Support in Wales is a concrete example of how the Welsh Assembly Government is taking forward services for young disabled children, enabling them to get the best possible start in life and enabling their families to be partners in their child’s progress.
